6000 King George V on the down Cornish Riviera photographed between the Tilehurst and Bath Road bridges on the approach to Southcote. This spot was the setting for some of M W Earley's most iconic pictures of the King class. This photograph was taken in 1956 shortly after the new style of train headboard came into use.
